2022 DEKRA Commercial Vehicle Outlook Conference
In the fall of 2021, the DEKRA Commercial Vehicle Outlook Conference had to be cancelled due to the Covid pandemic. It has now been rescheduled for June 2nd and 3rd. Having been held three times since 2015, the event established itself as the central platform for dialog within the transportation and logistics industry. Plans are to hold the conference as a physical event in Berlin.
- New event in Berlin after cancellation in the fall of 2021
- High-quality central platform for dialog about commercial vehicles
- Conference topics: technology, digital transformation, and the last mile
The conference brings together top-class experts from the automotive and automotive supply industries, the policymaking world, and academia. This year, the program entitled “Future-proof Transportation” will be split into three topic areas, which will be explored in tandem: commercial vehicle technology, digital transformation, and the last mile.
In total, the event organizers are expecting more than 350 experts, academics, and top managers from well-known companies in the commercial vehicles industry – including many from international businesses such as Chereau SAS, Continental, Dachser, DAF, Daimler Truck, Fleetboard Logistics, Goodyear Dunlop Tires, IKEA, Knorr-Bremse, Kögel, Krone, MAN, Quantron, Rhenus, Scania, Schmitz Cargobull, Shell, and ZF Friedrichshafen. Also in attendance will be speakers from politics and a range of different associations and European organizations.
In addition, the European Commercial Vehicle Safety Awards of 2020 and 2021 will be presented at this year’s Outlook Conference. Both ceremonies had to be postponed due to the pandemic. Each year, the award is conferred to individuals whose professional activities have played an especially significant role in enhancing the safety of commercial vehicles. It is handed out by DEKRA, the German Road Safety Council (DVR), and the European Association for Accident Research and Accident Analysis (EVU).
