On January 1, 2021, Guido Kutschera (52) took charge of DEKRA’s Germany region in addition to his role as Chairman of the Management Board of DEKRA Automobil GmbH. He succeeds Clemens Klinke, who was previously responsible for the region with its 13 companies.

Clemens Klinke, who, after 36 years at DEKRA, retired from the DEKRA SE Management Board at the end of the year, handed over responsibility for DEKRA’s Germany region at the same time. The role was taken on by Guido Kutschera, who has been Managing Director of DEKRA Automobil GmbH, the company with the highest revenues in the global expert organization, since 2013. Since the start of the year, he has thus been responsible for a total of 13 DEKRA Group companies in Germany, providing services relating to inspection, testing, certification, auditing, qualification, and training.

In his new function, Guido Kutschera aims to strategically realign sales in the region, promote cooperation between the companies, and make greater use of synergies within the region. He will continue to serve as Chairman of the Management Board of DEKRA Automobil GmbH.
